SAHM for 2 days again.

Her fever was quite fierce for last Wednesday & Thursday. Especially on Thursday night, her fever has shot up to 40 degree C. To make things worse, she has refused to eat medicine, no matter how hard we tried to stuff it down her throat, she wld spit it out, cough it out, choke herself so that she could be released from our grip. Moreover, she has no appetite, puting the medicine inside her milk didnt help much . And i cant sponge her. She hates it to core. I would always wait until she is in deep sleep, then i'd use the hankie to gently tap on her forehead. She would either jump up crying, or brush my hands away and make a dont-disturb-me kind of whiny sound. So, i really give up sponging her, as i felt she could not have a proper sleep with me keep disturbing her... It's really hard for me to bring her fever down.. i can only leave it and pray that the fever will subside by itself.... that her lit body could win the battle.

Miraculously, her fever had subsided on friday morning. I decided not to send her to school. Since Hub has meeting in the noon, we decided to bring her to see Dr lim @ Kidsclinic. After registering her @ ard 11am, i was told that the waiting time would be ard 3hrs plus. hub was pissed and find the waiting time is a bit ridiculously long.. we went over to KidsLink instead. Dr V said no phlegm yet which is good.. and even praised Reia for her easy-examination @ such a young age. "Reia open your mouth" "Stick out your tongue" she would follow. Thanks to the school, her normal routine check in school :)

On a ligher note, this week, I only got to work for 3 Days again.... Good.. i really enjoy such a short working days and long long weekends (thou my sleep has been disturbed hearing her cough and cough and cough her lungs out)

Wondering how long the cough will last. haiz
