Reia's 1st Day in Primary School

We were blessed!

No need to do PV, and we managed to ballot in to PRPS (a pretty good neighborhood school).

Which meant, her lit' sister would benefit too :)

 

* SPI school bag was a bad choice (in my opinion) thou most parents rave abt the good back support.

 

Feeling excited, she managed to jump out of her bed every time she needed to wake up. Actually for a good 2 weeks, waking her up was not an issue (diff story there after *boo*)

 

Waiting for School bus

First day was pretty cock-up, mis-comm with the school bus. Nuff said, had to wake her daddy up and send us to school.

 

 

She is in 1 Resilience Class - in short "1R"

We were not allowed to stay outside their classroom, and therefore, i went back home.

To be back during her recess time at 9.50am.

 

Her pocket money - $2

 

All P1 students will have buddies to accompany them during recess time. Teach them how to buy food, bring them around the school compounds etc.

They had been her good buddies for a good 2 weeks before they were on their own.

 

 

Finally, school was over.

Reia had to follow the school bus to her next destination - Student care

Need to ensure she sat on the correct bus and knew where to alight.

 

And so, She embarked on her new school, new friends and new Live.

And so is her mama, who needs to wake up at 6am!!

I already yearn for school holidays!!

They have been practicing since school holiday starts.

School Outing

This is the first time, the school organized an outing which involved the Parents as well.

I have been waiting for such event to do some bonding with the school, teachers, lit' friends as well as the parents.

Compared to her sis, she is pretty much protected being...

Overall, she's doing fine in school. Further more, with her sister around, she feels more secured.
I always remind Reia to watch out for her lit' sister, making sure she is not bullied!
So nice to have a sister around, dont u think so... :)

It's Time for her Midterm assessment from her form teacher.

All in all, She has shown great improvement in her concentraction span. ANyways, the teacher will always ask her to sit in the front row so that they can watch over her. haha

Reia's mini Recital

Last Tues, the parents were invited to their music class (12 - 1pm) whereby the kids will performace individually. Luckily Im still on my Maternity leave, else would have missed it.

From my observation of Reia, she was kind of losing her concentration by then and her eyes were shooting blood red. She must be feeling tired and wanted very much to take her nap. Immediately i msg my hub - No More Late Night movies. She must be in bed by 1030 else she could not survive.

Their Music lesson are quite interesting. Kudos to sempi for that.
