Oh my, how time flies, my lit girl is 365 days Old!

Happy Birthday Reia Tan!

Despite the fact that she has running nose and fever last night, I made up my mind to bring her out simply cos its her birthday! Moi not gg to let her spend her birthday and my labour day at home. Period!

Initial plan was to go to the Zoo, but the crummy weather spoiled our plans

Anyways, I promised my colleagues to show-off my girl, so we brought her to my workplace. My colleagues actually bought cakes & pressie for her.

they complained that my girl wheezing sound is quite serious, and advised me to bring her to see doc. One of my colleague recommended Reia to seek help from TCM since he bought his son there and it's quite effective. So we decided to bring her to Yu Ren sheng @ tiong bahru Plaza.

Next stop, we went to Jacob Ballas @ botanic garden.

Nothing much, quite boring actually, the water playground was pretty small. We completed touring ard within half-an-hour.

Lastly, we went back to my mom's place and held another "cake"-cutting ceremony. It's actually the agar-agar i ordered during the last sat birthday bash. hah, blessing in disguise, else she will have those normal cake for today.

Post-Pinky Party Bluezz

My rainbow pool i rented was spolit :(

The rainbow had a big hole in it.... I have to buy the rainbow pool at Retail price @ $64

Luckily the pool still intact just that there's no rainbow over it. Will buy some balls for Reia to play in it!

Can you believe she did not receive any Toys for her birthday???!! Ok, only 2!

1) Rainbow pool was spolit!

2) I forgotten to distribute the party hat!

3) The agar agar was not served, still in my fridge!

4) Ros yiyi complained too lit photos, and din take much of Reia's solos.

5) Photos were not that well-taken.

6) Reia was a bit grouchy & sticky

It Was a BASH!

Finally, Reia's birthday party was over. Her bash was indeed a bash. Lit' Princess was happy, Hub and me were happy, Everyone was happy... made all preparation so worthwhile.

Dont ask me how much i spent.. there's only one 1st birthday in a lifetime. and Im glad we did this party for her :)

~*~*A brief recap of today's excitement~*~*

Early in the Morning ard 9 plus, after I'd fed reia her milk, hub sent her to my mom's plc so that we could go and pick up our helium tanks and cake. We headed straight to Party City @holland, thinking we could have our lunchie there, but we couldnt find any parking lot so we just collected the tanks and went off to AMK to collect our cake. Undeniably, i was a bit bit disppointed abt the 3-tier pinkie cake. The design was nice but the execution of the cake was not up to my expectation. oh well, sis said my expectation was too high....We safely delivered the 5kig cake back to our home and started to fill up all our balloons with the helium. It was so fun.... hub filling up the balloons while i tied the balloons with the curly string...Not long after... the house was filled with ard 80 over balloons and we only used up one tank! the other tank was still intact and cldnt be refunded. Should have gotten more balloons!! *duh*

Guests began to arrive at 6pm.. slowly enveloping the house with fun & laughter

Ard 8pm, we had our cake-cutting ceremony followed by photo-taking session. I had requested all my family members to wear in Pink too.

Guests loved the cake, especially the lychee martini, and the black forest actually has some alcohol in it too. I bet all the kiddos have a good night sleep today :p

The whole party ended ard 10 plus, and my lit princess was totally wasted after being such a good host!

A lit BiT of EvEryThing

Today, me and hub went to pick Reia from school. The feelings of picking her up is so much happier then sending her to school - a form of abandonment.. i feel. Therefore, for the past months, hub was the one who send her to school - I choosed not to follow.


Anyways, when we reached there, my poor reia was sitting inside her cot, both legs dangling out of the cot, both hands holding on to the bar.... looking pitifully through the gaps... The caregiver saw us and quickly explained... "我们刚刚放她进去“then the caregiver further add-on "她会打人“ I was totally speechless... 心想：拜托。。打人？？！！！she's probably trying to pat the baby. how would a baby know anything abt strength-control??!! Not to mention the type of porridge they provided. hub saw it... and described to me... 唉，我的宝宝真可怜！Trust me.. The lesser you know... the better.


Since we managed to reach home before the sun set, we decided to bring her to see another PD for 2nd opinion since her last treatment I did not see any improvement. Moreover her coughing is back and there's a great potential she will get bronchitis again. This Dr Vanessa is Good. She explained to me a lot of things... and nose-bleeding for a baby less than a year old is not a good sign she said. One episode could probably be luck... 4 episodes for the past 11 mths said something abt her. Nose bleeding could means she would probably get asthma.. which the doc said i must monitor closely... shall see... Sept is coming.... the time of the month....


PD concluded.... She's has nose allergy.. lung allergy... Skin allergy...
She has a lit bit of everything...


I just pray she will get well and be pretty this Sat!

Payback Time!

This morning, Reia's dad brought her to Kids' Clinic for review. Thanks God! She is free from nebulizer!! Just have to continue with her oral Medication. On top of that, PD also prescriped -Zyrtec to mitigate her sensitivity

Since she's getting back her pinkie health, The Evil mama will spare no one for torturing her during these days. It's time for Sweet Revenge baby!

When both of us are alone - In order to keep her within my sight, I will put her on her bumbo chair in the kitchen watching me either hang my clothes or wash the dishes.

And this cheeky lit girl managed to crawl out of it within secs!

Conclusion is: Aint no Thunder thights! She is ready to wear her skinny jeans!!

一岁前的大灾难

On Wed 140pm, I received a call from her school teacher - Reia's running fever and I'd to go pick her up. School Policy is that they do not keep babies who are having fever. My poor Reia is being chased out of her school. I took a cab down to her school and back home, immediately gave her some paracetemol once we reached home. Her fever shoot up sky-high ard 39.7 up and down thruout the night. I stayed up most of the hours to sponge and check on her. The next morning, we rushed her to see PD. PD diagnosed that she'd moderate bronchitis, and there were 2 choices - One was to admit her into hospital, the other was to home-treat with the help of neubilizer. PD suggested if we could manage her, the best was to treat her from home - Needs to be put on the nebulizer for every 4 hourly plus 3 oral medicines. However, the nebulizer machines were all rented out that Reia couldnt be treated with it till today. She had to resought to Oral medicine to curb her nasty phelgm in the meantime. She lost her appetitie that she hardly want to drink her milk. Daily intake estimated only mere 200ml or so.

Early today, Hub went to the clinic to pick up the machine. The first attempt was terrible, hub was holding her while i held the nebulizer. She just kept screaming and trying her ways to wriggle off hub's grab. 2nd attempt I was all alone treating her, I put her in her high-chair, On the TV, put all her toys in front of her to distract her attention. REsult was good, she started to struggle in the last 5 mins or so. The last attempt of the day was her best so far, we put her on her high-chair, hub the clown, sing songs, play balls, read stories.... she wasnt even bothered by the nebulizer... I was happy, at least she managed to inhale the medicine effectively.

She needs to be put on the nebulizer for the next 2 days or so, Monday will bring her back to PD for review and it better be good news, cos mama me cant affort to take anymore leave and its really tiring to handle a cranky grouchy sickly baby...... What happened to my sweet-little-smiley-happy-easy-gg-angel????

Pray for my lit' one. For no more serious illness to be bestowed on her. No more!! For those that got help or able to take care of their own babes, be thankful.

Free Photoshoot

We had free Studio shots! not too sure which friends of mine put down my name in "NXXX" studio co. Actually i turned down quite a few free photoshoots, such a waste of time to go thru the hassle only to take back 2 photos. I accepted this invitation only had in mind that Reia could wear her ballet tutu and had some pro-shots taken (which could probably be used to design her bday invitation) Too bad, she had another nose-bleeding espisode in the morning that i decided to drop the idea of her wearing that - fearing that she might stain her white leotard.

The place was huge and they exhibit quite a no. of their photos. First impression of their many masterpiece was... uh uh.... not my style, the artwork they designed was just so passe. We were greeted by one of the "image consultant" who would be with us throughout the photoshooting, explaning how he would groom us, how to use Adobe Photoshop to enhance on the pictures, etc etc... After much yaking, we were led to a make-up room, they put some light make-up on me as well as some powder on hubby since our first image was Casual. We just wore what we had (din bother to plan in adv the colour themes)

2nd Image, the image consultant suggested korean look. Since its free, i was thinking why not since my wedding shots I had none of those "passe" look. Was regretted instandly once my hairdo was done.... I immediately told the consultant "This image dont suits me at all, I look so old and ugly, I dont like it at all" The Consultant gave me a appalled look ad said "Im so hurt" *duh* Anyways couldnt bother to chg since I did not pay a single cents, However, my face was as black as charcoal. "image consultant???!!!! He needs to read up more High-fashion magazine. Dressing up in Jap / korean is so outdated! I din even had those shots during my wedding which was 5 years ago! Gosh!! Totally disgusted by my look! Of cos in the end, i did not choose any of the korean shots thou Reia looks good in those..... So sorry, Hot mama needs to uphold her image! Those Ugly photos shall be destroyed and never be seen again!

The Time of the Month

I witness it, fresh blood just drip down from her nose while her daddy was carrying her. Staining her Daddy's Tee and her own romper. This mark the 3rd episode of her nose bleeding. My poor baby... it seems to be a monthly affair thingy. I really hope it's purely a genetic issues and not a sign of any complication. Will consult the PD when she's gg for her 1 yr old Jab.
