My Poor Baby Reia, down with Chicken Pox on Monday thou she was vaccinated,

Regretted so much for delaying the chicken pox booster shot. Arrgghh

Anyways, 5 of her classmates had chicken pox too. The school is certainly having a outbreak!

What makes it worse was, we even went to the hospital to visit Asher (our new family member) prior to the pox! What a Perfect timing.

With newborn at stake, and my sister who will be doing her confinement here. We have no choice but to sacrifice Reia. Luckily, her gugu germaine is generous to house Both Reia and Alvin.
And Poor Darren has to give up his room for them.

With the Risk of me also getting it, I quickly went to get a shot. Am also bringing Reina to get her chicken pox booster!!
Couldnt go to visit her personally, Skype is our only communication tools.

She's totally enjoying her staycation at gugu's house.

The 4th Time

Same as her jie jie Reia who suffered from Bronchitis during her toddler days

The max she had was 4 times in a year and she outgrew it.

Hopefully ReiNa follows suit..

High High into the Sky

Since Last wed night, her fever has been soaring high. Ever since then, we have been feeding her profen as her temperature read was always > 38.5. In the end, i have to feed Profen - paracetemol - Profen - paracetemol for every 3 hrs to keep her fever down. Not sure why, but she hates puting the cooling patch on her forehead. no matter how we coaxed, she just refused to co-operate. However, she said sponging is ok. So no choice, thru the night, whenever her fever started to reach high 39, i wld start sponging her to bring down the temperature.

On Sat Night, she hit 40.2~ Asked hub whether should we bring her to hospital and have her checked. my zhu lao gong said, she's fine, still so active. Pissed! I told myself, the next temperature reading if she hits above 40 again, Im gg to drive to hospital myself!! On Sunday Morning, she hit 40.2 again! That's it, dragged him out and said Let's go hospital, period!

Her Blood test result was normal, so we just have to keep on monitoring

First Neb in 2011

Brought Reia to see PD today.

Her airway is small that caused the thick phlegm to be trapped inside and she cldnt cough it out. So no choice, neb is required to break the phlegm and another course of Antibiotics is inevitable.

The one that the GP gave was merely for the cure of throat and not the phlegmy part *sigh*

In Year 2008 - she had 2 neb

In Year 2009 - She had 1 neb

In Year 2010 - No record

In Year 2011 - She had 1.

Due to the clean record in Year 2010, she was given a "2nd chance" explained by the PD, else she could possibly develop into Asthma (high risk)

Grounded for a week

No Swimming, No playground - in the nut shell, no vigorous activities.

To prevent from getting Pneumonia

If she was in Pr 1, she wld be given one week MC from PE.
