Pei & JW's Wedding 060609

If it wasnt my best friend's wedding, I wldnt be jiemeiz again... I really feel Old doing this, Somehow. Anyways, due to my xcellent leadership quality, i was once again appointed to be the OIC for the morning event and the Head of receptionist during the banquet.

All jiemeiz had a meeting 3 weeks before the wedding day and discussed on the colour codes... Yes It's Pink again... 3rd time wearing the same old pink dress and everytime wore it seems tighter...*arrghh* and also to discuss what we could do to tekan the brothers... We came out this Casino Theme, and all the brothers got to wear the bunny outfit!

We were supposed to reach the bride's house at 5am... working backwards.. i have to wake up at 3.30am to prep myself, meet XJ ard 4.30am then share a cab down to the location. *yawn*

Reach home ard 1 plus 2, by then, Hub had already brought Reia over to my SIL's place. Prior to that, I have packed both Hub and reias' clothing so that they could meet me at the Hotel itself.

Her First Official Haircut

Today, Reia has her first haircut. Since borned.. this is the first time she'd lost so much hair at one go.... When i told the hairdresser, they all looked extremely surprised that this is her first haircut. Anyways, she sat pretty still during the whole process.

Reia's 2nd birthday is coming, less than 3mths to be exact, And I've no ideal whether to celebrate it "big" or keep within familes. For sure, I will do a mini-par for her @ school which i think she will be thrilled as she has been attending her classmates bday celebration. Im sure she would want one for herself too... Interesting ideas have been running in my mind.. but i shant reveal much.. =)

Mid-Year Assessment

It seems that most of the Schools have "meet the parents" session for the schoolers.

Likewise for Reia's school, my session with the teacher was scheduled on 2nd June 1pm.

Since i always received updates from her form teacher on and off, i dont see the purpose of me having to take leave to attend the "Meet the parents" session.

US Trip Part 8 - From LV to Grand Canyon

After 2 nights in Las Vegas, it's time we off to the next state. We woke up pretty early, got dressed, packed our luggage and off to our next pit stop!

Grand Canyon, Arizona!

Along the way, we stopped at Walmart to replenish our junkies

The sky turned gloomy.... and not long after....... we heard

'dong...... dong dong dong...... dong dong' on our car roof.

IT's SNOWING ICE!!

Before we reached Grand Canyon, we will travel thru the famous Hoover Dam.

Hoover Dam is only about 35 miles from Las Vegas Nevada making it a popular tourist destination of those visiting the casinos and nightlife that never sleeps. Over 20,000 vehicles a day cross Hoover Dam between Arizona and Nevada. Thousands from around the world take the Hoover Dam tour and ride the elevator down into the inner-workings of the dam. Too bad, we only had time to hi and bye the Dam.

From morning to dawn, we finally reached our Inn - Econolodge!

Arizona just had a stormy night the night before we reached which caused the lodge in power failure.

Luckily, the ppl in charged said that the electrician was otw. After we had our dinner at the nearby Mac, the power was Up and running! Yeah, finally, there's light and heater!
