Counting Down 24 Days to her 1st Birthday Bash, Counting Down 30 Days to my 受难日。 I'm happy with the preparation progress, nonetheless, there're still tons of things i wish i could do and hopefully could do it for my lit' girl.

~*~*Helium Tank & Party bag~*~*

Bought 2 tanks of helium Gas, One tank is able to fill up 35-40 latex balloons. So expect my home to be filled with balloons balloons and balloons. actually i really heart balloons more than flowers. i was eyeing a bouquet of balloons which cost ard 30 over bucks (with no helium) but was thinking to save some bucks since balloons is not a forever thingy. 要理智一点！As for the Party bag, managed to grab some good buy @ Rochor centre! Check!

Yes, It's ready for collection. Think i will chiong down to sonata tml during lunch time!

Ambitious me was thinking of personalize something for my guests. Since i love Magnets, was playing with the ideas of making my own clay magnet- A crown shape magnet! Will i have the time????? *shrug*

Reia loves tags! All sort of tags, she will be attracted to it. A tag-fetish!! Therefore was thinking of sewing one tagged blankie for her as a gift to her from mummy! tsk tsk tsk... 真不自量力！As of the birthday pressie from us, we thot of bringing her to "build a bear" workshop to make one exclusive bear for her (thou she's not a dolly-kind-of-girl)

Happy feverish 11 Months!!

For no apparent reasons, she's running a high fever of 39.3 degree. My guess is either she's teething or kana UTI.. I prefer to think its the former.. trying hard to coax her in taking medicine and sponging her (failed miserably).. Din manage to sleep well and have to take urgent leave to 服侍my 小公主。这样下去，我的leave迟早被她花完。Cant imagine if i have a 2nd one.. which Im thinking of having a 2nd one for the sake of my princess.. a lit tigger perhapes.. a lit tigger which will be named Ashton Tan, 陈芮扬？！？！ haha... just a thought! dont worry hub. you are spared for now!

Princess's Birthday Bash Update 2

Today, all the ladies in Tan's family decided to go Orchard Shopping whilst the guys hang out in Simlim. Best time for me to go Centre Pt Party Shop to view at all the party stuffs.. I must say, they really do mark-up their price .. Anyways, saw the Foil balloon i wanted to get, how can a princess do without a crown .... too bad they run out of the Candle I wanted in Pink.. will go and search for other party shop. If really couldnt find, i might just get the blue one.. *shrug*

Went over to Sonata @ Orchard Plaza to get my girl's birthday dress. I have been contemplating to self-made a tutu for her or ordered from etsy (but not too sure whether it will be ready by the time they ship over the tutu from states)... Really no nuts abt sewing.. therefore, i decided to custom made in Sonata which cost ard 32 bucks. If the end-product is not what i had in mind, wld probably just get a dress from the stores. SO birthday Dress is Check! *fingers cross*

Princess's Birthday Bash Update 1

At last, I've some time to plan for my lit' girl's birthday party.

The Theme will be none other than Princessy & Loads of Pinky girly stuff

Birthday Decor: - Parcel is otw to Singapore. THanks to reia's Ros yiyi. She has kindly sponsored all her decors and above are some shots she's taken before sending.. cant wait for them to reach my doorsteps! - Check!

Birthday Cake:- 5kg cum 3-tier Cake (lychee martini, black forest & tripple chocolate) from Pine Garden, which cost 200 bucks! *gasp* I cant believe i spent so much on just a birthday cake, this is just so not me. I was contemplating btw 2-tier or 3-tier when reia's dad commented that there will only be one 1st birthday. So heck... we will go for the best. - Check!

Helium Tank/Party bag:- would need to source what kind of goodies to be put into the loot bag for the kiddos, and need to rent a helium tank for filling up the balloons. Yes, it's a must! my balloons need to be floated into the air and not filled with carbon dioxide! i think my sis ordered 40 balloons... i might get more.... will have to get it down by this weekend!

Location:- Sad to say, we couldnt get a big bungalow or a function room to do up her party. In the end, we have to do it up in our Cosy small abode. On the good note, we could put up the decor the day before and have fun filling up the balloons! - Check!

Toys:- In the midst of negotiating with some Toys Co., let's see who can come out with the best offer & Best Toys. Budget $80

Food:- Thanks to reia's gugu mummy, I just need to tell her the no. of ppl and she will settle everything. ta-dah ... Food will arrive on the party day.

Guest List:- always in drafting status.....

Birthday Gift:- headache headache.... we have been discussing for days what to get for our lit' girl. Something memorable... SOmething special.... Something that we'll rem down the years... Something that she will like... I told reia's daddy why dont you buy diamonds for your lit girl, and her mommy can help her to safekeep for the time being..... anyways Diamonds are girls' best friends........hahah...

A peek into her School

During the long weekends (School was closed on Youth Day), they actually spring-cleaned the whole school and changed the whole flooring of the infant unit section.

Now, the flooring were so well-laid compared to the previous old dull parquet which some were cracked, some had gaps. It must be painful to crawl on that kind of flooring.

Take a look at all the babies! Arent they cute?? Months ago, they re still lying in their cot,. And now, most start to crawl ard and very soon, they will start to walk and run ard the school. It wld be chaotic then.. hehe The Babies play together, share toys together and yes, definitely share saliva and viruses... All well, One for all and all for one. One down, all down.

Sometimes I really wonder how she spends her day in the school :)

Classic Clip Part 1 - Dreaming

This is one of my fav clips that I managed to capture when she was ard 1 mth plus. It happened in wee hours when I'd just finished breastfeeding her. After a hearty and a satisfying meal, she began to doze off and emarked in her journey to her dreamland. - "Reia in the Wonderland"

Luckily, my hp is always with me to keep track how long she has been drinking, which side of breast did she last suckle... for eg: LB 3.oo - 3.15am RB 3.16am - 322am For the next feed, i will start off with my Right Breast! And i keep all these data in a small notebook.

I dont know how I manage to keep myself sane during those period whereby Reia always need my breasts in every 2.5 to 3hrs... but i manage to do it all by myself with no "physical" help.... but morally, all my loved ones are supporting me. Most Importantly, I always told myself (even before Reia is borned) I have milk I have milk I have plenty of milk...

And Proud to say, Im able to calculate how much she has spent on Formula Milk!

• For the 1st 6 Months - Total Breastfeeding. medela Pump Cost $280
• For 6 Months - 1 year - BM + 14 tins of Similac Follow-on which Cost $414
• So In total, for her 1st year, I have spent a grand total of $694 on her!!!

Family Outing

Reia's school was closed on Youth Day, so we decided to bring her to swim again! she was still having running nose, but knowing my girl, she would rather go out then stay at home.. kaka

Thereafter, Reia's daddy brought us to Changi Beach . As expected, she wasnt scared of the deafening sound, and was really curious of the waves that came to the shore.

It was a nice lit' family outing!

just brought her to see PD. Having Running Nose and persistant coughing thruout her sleeping times. PD said the cough medicine is actuall not for curing their cough, it actually only helps to open up their air-way for better breathing... Cough medicine only prescripe for >2yrs old toddler...

Then how to cure her Cough???!!!!

She Can Fly!

Her First Passport which cost me a whoopy 70bucks and only last for 5 years.

And i was appalled that passport no <> NRIC no. *duh*

anyways her passport no is xxxxx09A and mine is xxxxx11C

I will make sure within her first 2 years, she will have loads of chops!!

USA (guarantee chop), HK, BKK, Tokyo, Australia, Bintan, Bali, etc etc =)

cant wait to bring her out of Singapore!

Birthday Updates!

2 more months to ber birthday, nothing much is planned, actually nothing is planned... too busy with work that i have no time to plan anything. Most prob will be celebrating on 23 Aug which is a Saturday.

ps: Da-jie, you need to send her decors before you off to Land of Angels, and... Reia's dad wants that 3G iphone which will be launching on 11 July =)
