Depsite she's still not feeling well, nor drinking well, I'd decided to let her have her first taste of cereal. Hopefully with the new introduction of taste, she wld feel more cheery and her appetite wld increase :)

@ ard 27 weeks, she got to eat her first cereal!

Total breastfeeding for the first 6 Months!!

Not forgetting, my menses came at when she's ard 4 months plus. Totally Unexpected!! That's definitely cut my supply into half or more. During that week, supply was simply so pathetic and i had to keep thawning my stored frozen milk to sustain her daily intake.

My Goal was to TOTAL breastfeeding for her until she's One... but it seems my supply is getting lesser and her demand is getting larger. She's drinking ard 160ml x 5 and I only have time to pump 3 times a day.

No way that my supply can meet her demand.

Sad to announce, I opened up the sample tin - Similac and let her have her first taste of Formulae Milk on Good Friday. Arrggghhh..... Utterly Sad...... Really disappointed in myself.... 

Frankly speaking, during Reia's time then... I was more 'hardworking'. I would wake up at the wee hours to pump and forgo my beauty sleep. But for Reina... my last pump would be ard 11 near 12am.... and i wld sleep thru the next morning and get up to pump ard 6 plus 7. Oh well, only have myself to blame for not being a hardworking mooing cow.

I will still keep on pumping.... will try to give her bm during weekdays and sustitude FM only on weekends.

Arrgghhh.....

A Short Break @ Port Dickson 8 - 10 April 2011

This was the most impromptu getaway. Decided and booked on the day before and off we went the next day. Imagine the rush of packing all 4s belongings.... Luckily, we drove there, therefore, i just dumped whatever i cld think of in the trunk!

The driver did a good job in zooming 'safely' at a great speed. We reached our destination in ard 3.5hrs time.

Happy Wheezing 6 Month, Lit' R

So sad that she has to go thru this eating tonns of medicines instead of yummy cereal which she ought to start at this significant 6 Month mark! Cereal got to wait for now till she recover.

Went back to Dr Vanessa Tan last Fri, 8 April  (before we embarked to Port Dickson) and was diagnosed Bronchitis. Had a neb in the clinic and was precribed antibiotics. Sigh....

More medicines to force down her throat.

During our stay in Port Dickson, her fever came back (on & off). As we did not bring thermometer & paracetemol with us, I just kept sponging her whenever my bare hand told me it's hot.

On Wed, I decided to bring Reina to shadi's PD (Dr YY Yip, very well-known according to shadi's mommy) for 2nd opinion (all by myself). As Expected, bronchitis was diagnosed. He asked me something which made me sad cos I told him she went to infant care... Nobody can take care of her??? i shaked my head. Really nobody?? Then he said , no choice, she wld get this kind of episode every few weeks. Haiz... I knew this was coming.... Took another neb in the clinic and changed the whole suite of medicines.

Oh God, spare my lit' baby.

Reia has completed her 1st Term in Skylace. She enjoys this class a lot and this aid her in learning her mother tongue in a fun and joyous way...

She has shown tremendous improvement in Mandarin, yeah!!

Let's see how many words she can recongize :)

Of cos, Hot mama has been revising with her. THis is a concrete result of what a SAHM can contribute/is capable of. 

Dont think i will have much time to revise with her when i start work.. Boo hoo

When the Rs are Together....

Whenever my sis and Reanne are back in Town, the most beneficial one is none other than Reia T.

Firstly, she has a playmate - Reanne

Secondly, she will get to eat good healthy meals - prep by my sis

They bond with One another

 They eat their snacks together

 They like to cuddle one another

They will have outdoor activies.

 And they will have their bubble bath together



 Lastly but not least, they will have music appreciation time conducted by my beloved sis.

 They are so well-entertatined when they are in Town.

The house will full of screaming and laughter!!

Miss them now....

Reina is down again

On 25 March, her teacher in school made a comment that she did not have much appetite, refused to drink her milk and temperature on the Normal high range.

True enough, that night her fever rose... followed by coughing,,,,, running nose...... All comes in a package.

That week, i kept her at home to nurse her. Was so busy cos she kept vomitting and i needed to change her rompers/ bedsheet like 5 - 6 times???!!!

That week, we kept her by our side thruout the night, sleeping in between us, Sponging her lit' body whenever her fever rose thru the night

Poor Reina, lost her voice ultimately.

Till today, her bad cough still persists. Need to bring her down to visit PD again.

Reia: Yes??
Hot mama: opps Nothing
Reia: Nothing? then why u call me?
Hot mama: *speechless*

Last Week, one fine night, Reia decided to bunk over @ her popo's plc since her beloved yiyi and Reanne were back in Town

When Reia was young and vomitted on the bed, the first thing we wld say is.... It's Ok... good job.... all the phlegm are coughed out... No worries. followed by lotsa hugs and reassurance.

Now, whenever Reia vomitted on the bed. hub would say. REIA...... U should wake up and go to the toilet and Vomit! poor gal.... depreciate so fast!

Sometimes. we just forget that she's only 3plus old.
