Finally, sis's wedding is over. Loads of photos taken with my NEW LX3.. whoo hoo!!! Very Good Camera! Luv it luv it! ~ Give me some time to upload the photos! I need to clear spaces in my laptop, for this babe can produce 9Megapixels! Oh yeah, hot mama getting pro..

Back to my sis's wedding. As usual, I volunteered to do all the jiemeiz wrist corsages! I did for Shadiz's mummy's wedding, My own and now my lit' sister.

Roanna's Wedding Updates 1

Been really busy lately becos my youngest sis is getting married, Yeah! & the planning of US trip, double Yeah Yeah! Shall blog more abt US trip after the Wedding.

Let's Talk abt the Wedding for now

Yang Shiyun - that's how i normally call her! My lit sister, the last in our family to get married off and she's moving to Jarkata with her hub-to-be and become a taitai! *envy envy*

None of my sisters will be in town.. i will be so lonely and will definitely miss them lot *boo hoo*

OK.. where shall i start...

Reia needs a pretty flower dress, so Last Sat, i requested to go SUntec shopping - knowing there are some kids' shops at the 3rd floor. When we reached there ard 3-tish, we went straight to Sakae Sushi to have our late lunch! For the first time, 22/11, i gave her chawamushi (shared), inari sushi x 1, crab sushi gunkan x 1! One thing for sure, gg forward, hot mama has to constantly forcus on her while having meals - She has 3 feeds, hot mama has one feed. *sniff* *sniff*

After we had our lunchie, we went to shop for her dress..... So disappointing.. Nothing caught my eyes! Nothing!.... actually there's not much design for toddler...! So we left that place empty-handed.

My dear da-jie & Tom flied back on the wee hours on Sunday Morning, as such, I had to bring Reia back to mom's place so Ros yiyi can cuddle and kiss her as much as she wants. She was only 5mths when she last saw her..... I warned her before she's back in town - Aint no Angel you gg to see, She's a lit monster! In Chinese 小魔鬼！haha

On Monday, i Purposely took leave so that 我们三姐妹can go shopping together, at the same time, source for Reia's Dress & perhapes my dress. We went Metro, to Taka, to Tangs, Far East, to Isetan Scotts, then down to John little, Robinson, OG, last stop we ended in Plaza Singapore! Oh boy, we walked until our legs 起泡！Really marathon shopping! Anyways, din get anything I want! The Best thus far was a dress in OG, which was at reasonably price and made of Satin - classy and simple. But.... I 坚信I could find something better.. so in the end.. i put it back on the rack.

On Tues, gugu Germaine went lucky plaza to check on Yen Currency, so i smsed her to checkout if there's any nice dress in Tangs (forgotten to check out during the shopping marathon). She MSMed me 3 dresses which i find not bad, so decided to go down to Tangs to have a look! After much considerations, i din get any cos I missed out one very important place BHG! They should have quite a fair range of dresses bah. Neh... Nothing for the toddler! So I told myself, Wed i will make a trip down to Tangs to get the dress!

On Wed night, I chiong down to Tangs to get the dress... i stayed there for a while cos i cld not decide which size to take- 12mths or 18mths?? In the end, i took the 18mths, i scared my fat auntie cld not wear the 12mths. Happy happy! After i reached home, immediately i let Reia try on the dress... not too sure why, she kept crying when wearing that dress.. JUST LIKE THE BUMBLE BEE COSTUME... Sheeesh..... she actually refused to wear and try to tear the dress away from her..... ok.. prolly she's tired and hungy and its time for her bedtime.
In short, the dress is way too big although mom and sis said it looks fine. However to me, she does not look flattering nor cute nor sweet in it.... think she looks better in Tux!

So Today during lunch time, I chiong to Tangs again! In total i Visited Tangs 3 times in a Row... i changed to 12 mths with fear that she could not fit in.... After I reached home, with my mom's help, i let her try the dress again. Same as last night, She cried again!I have to literally forced her in! I swear the dress was in comfy material! I dont know what's wrong with her. So Not Princessy! arrggghhh...... angry

白墙再也不孤单

Finally, the wall stickers i ordered from spree has arrived!

Waited for so long that I completely forgotten i have ordered this thing.

Compared to the clouds set, this set of animals wall stickers is so much easier to paste.

Decided to paste it in our living room instead of her room, since she spent most of her time in the living Room playing. And... I have plenty of White boring walls in the living room.

We need more crowds and colours!

Ivan & Sanny's Wedding

14 Nov 2008 is our dear Ivan & Sanny's Big Day & we are honoured to be their Brother & Jiemeiz.

Since we will be pretty occupied for the whole of Friday, i have put Reia under my mom's TLC. . We kissed her farewell on the Thurs night & picked her up on Sat Morning. THis is the first time, we are not with her for more than 24 hrs!

Since i have to reach M hotel @ 530am, i forced myself to wake up @ 330am to get ready. AH b sent me to the hotel and off to the groom's house @ Old Holland Rd

It has been a long long while since i am involved in the jiemeiz thingy... hah.. Luckily hot mama is still pretty hot that i have been selected as one of the jiemeiz.

The whole morning event ended ard 1 plus. By then, Both of our heads are spinning due to lack of sleep. 不承认老都不行！

ANyways, sleep ard 1.5hrs and i have to get up and start preparing again. Ah b is responsible for the music, mic testing & montage thingy while I have the role of the receptionist, So we need to be at the banquet ard 530pm.

Prior to that, me and Gen went to set our hair @ Zoom in MS since it's just next to Conrad Hotel.

Class Photo 2008

Presenting, Reia's 1st Class photo.

This was actually takeh 2 days before she turned One and I just received it yesterday!

So cute right.... She looks kind of tall here... hehe..

This photo doesn't justisfy her cutie-ness wor..

Every baby has this "Record" book where the teacher will indicate when she sleeps, when she eats, when she poo, when she drinks milk.. etc etc...

if there's special remarks for parents to take note, they will write it down. for this instance, "kindly replenish showel gel & cereal by this friday" or they will actually advise us that it's time for Reia to learn how to brush her teeth, so they actually request us to buy one toothbrush for her. Isnt it Great, they actually help us to monitor her development and the skill-sets she's acquire at her age in order for her to be independent!

However...... today, there's extra note for Us!

So detailed description on the incident right, sometimes i wonder if they actually witness the whole fall... haha.... Not surprise if she's playing alone when the fall happened. Anyways, falls are inevitable. 人的一生中，一定会有一粒baluku.

She was asleep when i reached home, so din really get to examine the baluku. But according to ah b, it's nothing serious.

She's a Monster

Last weekends, we were practically out the whole day! On Sat, after the Chicken Pox jab (long due), Sign-up the One year old package for $310 - Comprise of Chicken pox jab, MMR & Booster, we went over to Jurong for MJ & Wii.

As usual, this lit' monkey was busy climbing up the stairs and down the stairs..Her motor skills is so advanced that she's RUNNING now... Yes... doing galloping up the slopes and down the slopes.. she has abrasions on her elbows, knee caps and head due to falls.. She's really a hyper hyper hyper active piglet! Yesterday brought her down to the playground to play swing, this lit girl same age as Reia refused to sit on the swing.

Lit's girl mom: "Why are you so afraid, look at the baby (point at Reia)

Lit's girl ah ma:"He's a boy mah"

Hot mama:"Errr... She's a girl!

Lit's girl ah ma:" oh... Sorry"

Anyways, on Sat, she refused to sleep after mid-night. No Choice, but to pack and go home. Cannot play 通宵麻将了。。唉

What If...

Did anybody watch last tues 星期二特写: 生死一线? It's abt a young mom who has diagnosed with advanced breast cancer in 2005, and early this year the cancer has spread to her brain, lungs, liver and bones. She is kind of preparing her hubby and her two children Josie & Toby the life ahead when she's no longer with them. She has pre-prepared all their bday presents and put them nicely in a box, so that when she's not there to celebrate with them, she still has presents for her 2 children.

I cried buckets during the show... as a mother, What if you cant see your children growing up.. Will she remember me ? my face? my smell? my voice? any events? Im not too sure if she's lucky, as least, she knows in adv, and she's preparing... she's trying hard to leave whatever she can so that her children can remember, trying to get some insight into what Josie and toby might be facing in the years ahead and what can she do to help them... losing a mother as a young age is hard.

Life is unpredictable...

To Reia On your first day to School

How was School, my baobao? Im sure daddy is there during your recess time. Did you have loads of fun? Did you cry and refuse to go to school? You are a big girl now, big Girl pack their own bag.. do their homework... if you need help in your study, always look for your daddy. Remember, you are always mommy's brave lit' girl

To Reia On the day of your first menses.

Fret not, my lit' lady. Look for yiyis or gugu for advice. Dont worry abt the cramps, get some painkiller if it's really bad.... normally it will go away on the first few days. you can always count on your daddy to throw tantrums at. Cheer Up gal! Nothing can dampen your mood!

To Reia On your 16th Birthday.

Awww.. Happy Sweet 16! What a pretty lady you are now...Bet there must be a lot of bees buzzing ard you....go slow my girl..... enjoy the attention, flowers and gifts... 'O' level is coming... mommy wish U all the Best.... JC or Poly.... Let me know your choice.. Besides Studies, mommy hope you can pursue your passion if you have any, be it dancing, drawing, music, or anything. It's important to study hard as well as Play hard.

To Reia On your 18th Birthday.

You have the VISA to go clubbing! Welcome to the chiongster World, aren't you excited?..... Control your alcohol level... and dont you dare to pick up smoking! Please inform your dad where you will be and the time you will be back! Im sure he's happy to chauffeur you back home. I'm fine with tattoo-ing... but not your bf's name pls.... get permission from your dad first. Happy Birthday Reia!

What a Night

Reia has been coughing for almost 2 weeks…. All this while, I’ve been doing self-medication (cheapo mama). Hopefully, the cough would get better and ultimately she’ll recover in no time. First week, seems improving, she only cough occasionally at night…Last few days, her cough has become more intense and frequent, which urge me to bring her to see PD before my sis’s wedding and the US trip. So finally Last night we had the chance (my mom has dance class every wed night, so we need to pick Reia up on the dot so she could be released), we brought her down to KidsLink. Dr Vanessa said she’s quite chesty, but not as bad as the last visit…

After we reached home, which was ard 9 plus, I fed her milk with all the medicines in it. She was coughing and drinking at the same time….. the next moment I went to check on her, she was sound asleep with the empty bottle at the side. Not long after.. .she began to cough quite badly to the point that she vomited out all her milk plus lunch plus cereal (im serious, I can smell the cereal) some discharged even went up to her nose, that she went totally panicky cos she cldnt breathe…. I quickly shouted out to ah b and carried her out of her bed…. She continued to vomit the remaining and kept crying… she’s really in shocked. Haiz my poor babe.

After we cleaned her up, hub continued to pacify her in the living room while I started to clean up the mess…. No bed for her, she has to co-sleep with us (how ironic, last few days, I was disussing with hub that we should move her bed back to her room to sleep, install a sensor at the door so that we know she has awake and starts to wonder ard) …. it has been a long while since she sleeps in btw us, she has grown quite a fair bit that queen size bed just aint enough to squeeze the 3 of us….. Anyways, din really sleep well, I was really sleeping at the edge of the bed making spaces for her kung fu fighting. My body is aching….
