This year, we went over to my Cousin Serene & Alec house to 接财神！
This was also the first time, Reia attended a live performance of 舞狮。The drum was really deafening & piercing, Reia was kind of scared but she took it all in her stride.

And so, my mom 万嘱咐千交待，I must give Reia an Ang bao to 压岁. likewise, me and alvin each has one to be put under our pillow!
Every year, our itinerary is the same. First we would go back to my mom's house to 拜年。Some of my relatives will come over to my mom's place. As usual, my mom will cook lotong for all to eat.
and then we would proceed to my Eng-mai's house where all my uncles and aunties and cousins would gather for dinner and formed small gambling den (so called our Yeo's family last pit stop)

After Reia's mission is completed aka collected all angpows, we proceed to ah b's ah tio's house to 拜年。Lastly, we would go back to my inlaw house for Steamboat Dinner!

Before the class started (which i think they started ard 2.15pm thou the class suppose to start at 2pm), they put some giant legos on the mat for the kiddos to play and mingle around. For the first half, i was inside with her or rather for the first half, all mummies were there with the kiddos and switched over to daddies during the 2nd half. So, during my session, there were loads of singing... there're Welcome Song, Hello Song, Worm songs, etc etc... almost every object or actions, it comes with a song... Those mummies who attended GUG before know how to sing.. But Not to worry, Hot mama will buck up and learn all the songs, 我是不会让我女儿丢脸的！
During the Art & Craft, the teacher demostrated how to use a Corn to do painting, she dapped the corn on some coloured paint and chop chop chop it on the white paper, and later she rolled the corn onto the white paper to create different design and pattern. She advised all the mummies not to say " D" "I" "R" "T" "Y" or "M" "E" "S" "S" "Y" or Eeekk or Ahhhhh... /*Digress - my sis told me those americans parents will spell out the word if they do not want their kids to learn for eg: S T U P I D or I D I O T or B U L L S H I T*/ (the paint is non-toxic)... Just let them use their creativitness to paint the picture..... I was like ... OK....... Reia, U better not eat the paint or use her hand to touch your face nor your clothes..... it went pretty well, she was enjoying chopping away...... After that, we went washroom to have her clean up. The paint is good, wash off easily. Reia only kana some paint on her pants.. haha. Great! Im inspired to get some paint and apron for her to start some art & craft fun at home! haha...

After the lesson, Hub suggested to go swimming. So we went home, get changed and off to the SK swimming complex.

Woke up early the next morning, took a group photo before we embarked in our Fun Land!

Luckily, they have this Child-Switch Pass for those with babies….. so that we could take turns to look after Reia and don’t have to re-queue again…save a lot of time instead.….好才Reia 没有拖累我们。。哈哈 So those with kiddos.. No fear… You will be able to enjoy all rides too! So normally, my mom/dad, Roanna and Alfred will be the first to take the rides…. After they are back, we will take the express lane and able to take the ride within 5mins with this Card!

The most pitiest person would be Reia Tan… Sometimes, when we were so engrossed with the rides that sometimes…. I would forget to change her diaper after > 7 hrs…. Missed her meal time totally….. or tried to stuff her biscuits to prolong her fullness…. Tsk tsk… feel so guilty thinking about it….. for the whole of US trip, she eats what we eat, she did not have a decent FULL nourished meals...
Farewell Universal Studios hollywood
After the 1st Full day in Universal Studio, we had completed most of the Rides. So on the 2nd day in Universal, we tried to concur the rest of the rides within half-a-day, so that we could drive down to Dessert Premium outlet shopping shopping shopping

Along the Drive, we saw pretty scenic ice-mountain... and we were really thrilled to see Snow along the road. Just had to stop-over and let us touched the SNOW!!! Gosh it's really those fluffy fluffy type of snow, aint those hardened into grey slabs kind of fugly ice which i used to touch.

Just touched down this morning at ard 12plus to 1 midnight. Everything went well as planned. The "most scariest & worriest" moment was taking the flight - 18 hrs on the plane with a lit monster is no joke! And so... I Really had no choice but to give her 3 dosages of flu medicine trying to knock her out. She was really not that sleepy thruout the flight, kept wanting to walk up and down the aisle. Luckily, i had my mom and dad. We really tag teams to take care of her so that we could rest. The Most tiring part is we have to carry her thruout the flight (cos she has no seat, and the plane was full that we could not find an empty seat for her). My arms were aching and so were my legs... a slightest movement cld sound her wakey alarm. Spending almost 750 on her for a no seat and no food airticket... Rip-OFF *bleargh*
I must really thank Hi-5 for spending most of the time with her during the flight and our road-trip. She really enjoyed their company. you could see her watching &/or playing with my iphone. Im glad i asked my hub to copy the hi-5 into my iphone [my anniversary gift from hub :)]
After we touched down in San Francisco, sis has planned everything for us. In order not to tire out the 2 drivers, she had arranged shutter service to pick us up from the airport to her home. (Courtesy of her).
