Happy Halloween 2008!

Finally, Reia's costume has arrived on the Eve of Halloween! What a purrfect timing. Guess what Ros yiyi has surprised her this time ?

• A pair of halloween-print hair-clips
• A knitted hat (for US trip)
• A halloween greeting card
• A bumble Bee Halloween Costume

Her first try on the costume - she was in a oh-so-interesting state of mind. Shortly after that, instead of a Cutie bumble bee buzzing ard the house... She has turned into a whining bumble bee, desperately looking for her Queen B. My dad insisted it's too hot and uncomfy for her.

I wasn't satisifed of the photos of cos, din really get any good shots of it. 怎么向我的大姐交待.So, after we reached home. I onz the air-con in her playroom, getting ready my DC and try to force her into the costume again....

She's really terrified of the bumble bee..... I dont know why.. she kept shaking her head.. as in No no.. she dont want to wear.. and would clinge on us real tight, Hub said it could be the yellow and black stripe that she was scared of... or perhapes the material puts her off..... haha, anyways... it was darn amusing... I kept chasing her ard with the costume.. and she would give me a horrifying look and cry pitifully.... 我还以为她天不怕地不怕, 却怕一只小蜜蜂.

I have found her achilles'heels!!!!

Next time i know how to scare her...... instead of the cliche saying..... wait ah bu neh neh come and catch U.... i will say... bumble bee is here......... fwahahaha...

Reia has become so gu-niang/girly suddenly.. another side of her personality is emerging..... her dad was pleased thou, & gave a *phew* sound... Dont be like your mummy so strong-headed!! *duh*

Eating or Playing

Reia is turning 14 Months soon, and 4 more months to go - She will graduate from infant care to Playgroup. In the playgroup, she's will have to feed herself, able to dress herself, able to sleep on her own...And so... Hot mama has decided to let her try feeding her own lunch!

Im all prepared! wrap her high-chair with a cloth (din want her to dirty the chair), wear an old top (if it's really messy, can throw it away immed), most importantly, I have to remain Cool.....

For a Start, She was doing really good.....

and then...... she decided to use the indian way of using her hands to scoop up her porridge.

How clever..

In the end, Lots of cleaning up needs to be done! we had a hard time trying to carry her out without her filthy hands touching us!

My evil twin sister was hovering me to shout " Where's Your head!" haha

Ticks or Treats

BOO

Every Year, Mel & Gen will invite us to their house for Halloween Party! They'll always decorate their house to cater for all festive seasons! be it easter, Halloween or Xmas.

This is taken when Reia was only 2mths old. Her first Halloween in Melgen's hse.

This Year, they organized it at The Ascott Singapore Raffles Place! We are the only Resident on the 16th floor as it is not opened to public yet - we are the priviledged ones.. Cool... we can scream our hearts out!

I was expecting Reia's Halloween costume to arrive in SG (Ros yiyi bought her a cutie costume)but too bad, it was still on the way somewhere out there. So, Reia dressed up as Jay Chou wannabe since Auntie Gen loves Jay CHou. hahaha. Reia in her grey hooded jersey, and a hippy-hoppy large jeans!

Not much entertainment for her, she could only walk ard the apartment, in and out of the big wardrobe, sitting ard, looking at herself in the mirror.

Whereas the adults are definitely having loads of fun playing WII. I need to get that gadget!

Such an "in" toy, of cos must teach Reia how to play!

Nothing is too young to learn!

She will learn thru play! hehehe

The party has to end early ard past midnight cos Reia is still widely awake and refused to sleep!

She's such a Night-vampire!

• able to show me where is her nose and eyes (till now still dont know... tsk tsk)
• follow specific instruction - Take diaper from your room and pass to mummy.
• Understand the real meaning of NO! (hub has started to slap her hard on her thighs and hands for misbehaving.... hahah..beri good..She needs some good spanking. I Say, she needs a Cane! a pink colour one pls...) *evil grin*

Daddy makes Bath Time so much fun

Most of the times, ah b will bathe her.... and when he's done, he will call out to me so that I can dry her and put her clothings on.

The Airport

Definitely a good place for her to walk and fall and roll around, with no worries. For T3 is really huge and children-friendly... in a way. Forgotten to check out their nursing room, heard it's clean and nice!

I've slowly introducing and letting her taste some outside food, be it bee hoon, fried rice, tou fu etc etc. oh ya...Another thing i need to buy, is a small scissor to cut all the food into smaller pieces.

My bag is getting heavier and heavier.. how i wish i have a Bag that is NEVERFULL *got it??*

hot mama is simply too lazy to cook her porridge now. (during the last weekend, out of 4 meals, i only managed to cook 2 of her meals) When hot mama is lazy, she will eat cereal! If her meal time crashed with our outing time, she will eat cereal. If we plan to go out the whole day, she will eat cereal!

Splish Splash Splosh

Reia's School was closed yesterday, so we decided to dip her into the pool @ the newly opened Sengkang Swimming complex! A good time to go swimming since its a weekday and there wld not be much crowds!

We put her into her new swimming suit (courtesy of Ros yiyi) and let her sashay ard the house while moi was clicking away on the DC

She simply looks so cutie in the retro swim suit! Have to get her a bikini design one.
Think she will look adorable in them :)

An Excursion to the Zoo

Today, We brought Reia to Singapore Zoo. Weather was Superb.... Aint no Scorching heat, Purrfect for a lit' family outing. We headed off after we fed Reia her lunchie, din want to carry so many things with me. We reached there ard 1-tish and the queue was long. At the entrance, we were greeted with photographers who took our family photos - was so tempted to purchase which cost ard $18 per photos... but neh.... not gg to let them earn my $$$.

Throughout the excursion, Reia was more interested in getting down from her stroller and wanting so much to walk on her own. Now the stroller is more for carrying my barang than her.

We were so exhausted after the whole walking and carrying and chasing after her. Headed to the exit ard 5-tish. Not long after she settled down in her car-seat...... she fell asleep.
