All Rs are Down

First it was Reia, then the virus caught up to me.... which ultimately passed down to lit' R.

Poor baby, fell sick at the age of 2 mths old, So much said about breastfeeding babies have stronger immunities. Pui. Anyways, their immune system takes a while to develop, so it's pretty easy for them to pick up bugs. Oh, and my mom gonna nag that i always bring Reina out - be it Rain or shine.

Brought her to visit PD in Single-parent mode yesterday Waited for ard 2 hrs *roll eyes*

So what Dr diagnosed was

1) Sensitive nose, pretty blocked actually (genetic)

2) Eczema ard face and neck area (same as Reia)

3) Cough but lungs were cleared.

Ard 9pm, Reia vomitted on her bed whilst sleeping and i threw away the bedsheet.

Ard 12am, Reina also vomitted on me whilst burping and i threw away my clothes

What a way to end the Year 2010

Reia's mini Recital

Last Tues, the parents were invited to their music class (12 - 1pm) whereby the kids will performace individually. Luckily Im still on my Maternity leave, else would have missed it.

From my observation of Reia, she was kind of losing her concentration by then and her eyes were shooting blood red. She must be feeling tired and wanted very much to take her nap. Immediately i msg my hub - No More Late Night movies. She must be in bed by 1030 else she could not survive.

Their Music lesson are quite interesting. Kudos to sempi for that.

Im quite impressived.

Substandard Treatment

Let me tell U why the 2nd child is so 苦命

Substandard 1

Reia gets NEW clothes, NEW cot, NEW stroller, NEW sterilizer... Everything is NEW

I did not even buy anything for Reina before she was born.

 

Substandard 2

when i was preg with Reia, hub always accompanied me to the prenatal checkup - without fail.

With Reina, I went to the prenatal checkup alone from 16 weeks onwards. I used to pity those preggy who went for the checkup alone without their partner. Ironically, I'm one of those that ppl gave a pityful &/or Oh-so-poor-thing kind of stare wondering if im a single-parent. *duh*

Substandard 3

Reia has a pediatrician to manage her every stage of development - in good health or in illness

Reina only has a general practitioner. Did a comparison on the cost of the vaccination.

For PD, 6in1 cost $440

For GP, 6in1 cost only $268.

The con thing abt GP is that they dont really assess her growth. I will still bring her to see PD if she's not feeling well. Im not really that cheapo to put my girl at risk

Nevertheless, Her life will be overflowng with our Love -

Lit' Cub First 6in1 Jab

We were a bit late in bringing Reina for her 1st jab - All thanks to her daddy's busy work schedule. Of course, I cld bring Reina to jab myself but I want to video her so no choice, got to fit into his timing.

Doc advised us to feed her a dosage of paracetemol when we reached home.

During evening time, she began to feel feverish.

The amount of blood she'd lost :(

Parents Meeting

Our alloted timing was given on Sat @ 930am.

And so, early in the morning, we deposited our 大小R to my mom's place and off we went to her school.

Before leaving, i asked Reia :"Do U want to come with us? Im not sure what Teacher Yvonne got to say to us and perhapes maybe you are not allow to study in that school since u choked the toilet bowl"

She shaked her head and gave us a terrfied look

So how did our lit' Miss Trouble fare for her N1?

What did the Teachers say about her?

From the English Teacher:-

"Reia can express herself very well. One of few that can speaks fairly good and she's very knowledgable"

"We did not punish her after she choked the toilet bowl, we made her stand there and watched how the auntie fixed and cleaned the toilet. We wanted her to know how tedious the process was"

Teacher commented that she's probably seeking for attention and it could be due to her lit' sista was born

Hub rebuked she's at her explorer stage!

"When queuing up to do activity, if her friend in front takes longer time to complete the task, she would come forward and "help" them.
Teacher's interpretation - Inpatient

Our interpretation - so helpful and so smart
Reia's interpretation - Dont waste my time!

"She wld just squeeze her clothings and blanket into her bag and off she went to play with her friends. Sometimes, she forgot to zip her bag, sometimes, her things still lying somewhere"

Reia's intepretation - I just wanna play. 

During lesson, teacher will always put Reia in front of the class as her concentration span is so very the short!


 

From the Chinese Teacher -

"不愛讲华语，不会认一到五“

It's all hot mama's fault, period. Im gg to communicate with her in mandarin! 真是丢脸。

The school prepared this in a PPT format which i dont know how to convert to mov.
And so, I copied out the photos and re-do this.

Enjoy her N1's journey!

Next year, she will promote to N2.

Which means...

(1) No more milk before her nap

(2) No more diaper during her nap

(3) Must be able to change her clothes herself (which she has no problem in that)

Complaint

Teacher: Reia's mommy, today Reia went to the toilet and played with the toilet paper. She teared some toilet paper and threw it inside the toilet bowl and flushed it away. she kept doing it until the whole toilet bowl was clogged and proceed to do it in the boy's cubicle until we caught her in action.

Hot mama: ...............

Teacher: During lesson, she gets distracted easily and will always execuse herself to go to the toilet.

Hot mama: .......................

Tomorrow is meet the parents session. Whoo hoo..... more to come.

At N1, i already received complaints from the teachers.

My Confinement Lady

我好幸运，我有我的妈咪帮我坐月子。

我爱吃什么，要做什么，想做什么，她都知道。

衣食住行她全包，不但得照顾大的，又得哄小的，还得抛弃她的老公（害他得自己洗底裤），和远离她熟悉的床。

朋友坐月子，总有很多的委屈，埋怨。但我坐月子却非常的开心又轻松。要做什么就做什么，想吃什么就吃什么。她也只是偶尔唠叨唠叨，也不会处处逼人，所以体力和精神很快的恢复过来。

为了报答她，我买了一架laptop给我妈咪to replace her 10 yrs old lappy.
