Her First Cinema Show

Last Saturday, we'd decided to bring Reia to watch her first movie show - "How to Train a Dragon". As Usual, being a cheapo mama, thou she has overshot the height mark. I only bought 2 tickets.

Choosing a Good cinema, the Right seats, yummy Snacks are some critical factors to bring a toodler to watch a Movie.


GV @ Vivo -
the Seat is spacious, moreover, the handrest can be lifted which created more space in between us. If she wants to nap, she can also lie across.


Near the Walkway &/or Exit door -
Just in case, she really gets cranky and we can make an easy escape out the cinema without making a scene.

Popcorns Popcorns & Popcorns -
Definitely can keep her hands occupy and keep her glued onto the seat.

Mental Preparation -

Need to prep her that the theatre will be dark, only can whisper, cannot talk loudly. Luckily, we always see TV show with the lights off in our room, so she kind of get used to the darkness.

She's all Ready for the Show.

Since we only bought 2 tickets, so Alvin got to carry her and we instructed Reia to lie down on his shoulder (pretending to be like a small baby). Unfortunately, we were blocked by the man who asked Reia to stand on the height chart. Luckily, Reia being such a cutie, was let in without having to buy another ticket *phew*. Din know they are so STRICT, so i guess this will be her First & Last Free Show!

Thou is only a pure 90mins show, as expected, she could not sit still. The movie quite deep for her - halfway thru the show, she was climbing up & down the seat, walking to the walkway, sitting on the staircase eating her popcorns, wanting to go out. But Somehow, we managed to keep her inside the theatre and finished the whole show without VERY much of a fuss.

Hair stands Case

While i was about to leave my mom's home, I walked past my sis's room and exclaimed :" 妈咪，为什么杨世芸的房间这么多头发？？？？！！！" (指着房门口的一推头发)

妈咪也莫名其妙，说不上来。。。 在这时候，站在一旁的宝宝却偷偷的暗笑。

Reia:" I cut my hair" then she brought us to the room and pointed on the floor.. "Here have some more hair"

Hot mama:"How U cut your hair???? scissors?? Where is the scissors??"

我一面说，一面不停地四处张望，看看有没有剪刀的痕迹。Then i saw the small scissiors which i used it to cut her nails.

Hot mama:"Did U use this to cut your hair??" She shook her head. "Then where is the scissors"

She ran to my sis dressing table, and pointed a gold plated scissors which my sis used to cut her eyebrows!

Hot mama:" U used this to cut ur hair???" She beamed and said :" Yes" Then she proceed to demonstrate how she cut her hair.

True enough, some of the hair at the crown of her head was shorter!

Baby Mozart

Decided to sign Reia up in the baby Mozart class @ Chris*** music school which is located at Punggol Plaza. Not a very X course and the plus point is... a mere 5 mins walk from my home.

With the aspiration that, she will possess her yima's music talent.


if not, at least like her mommy.. able to "smoke thru'"... Sense of rhythm is V important for a dancer too.

Did not have a good impression of Chris**** as materials for the kiddos were not prepared in advanced, percussions were out-of-stock. Therefore, during the 1st day of class, the adminstrative portion already kind of makes me roll my eyes.

The class wasnt big, a total of 6 kiddos. Teachers were young and not very experience (in my opinion). LEsson was not very structured, at some pts they were trying to find stuff to teach. They seemed lost... pretty lost.... that makes me roll my eyes for the 2nd time.

Thou is a mere 45mins short lesson, Reia was kind of bored and so was her mommy. For now, they are learning the hand sign of Do Re Me Fa So La To Do (not sure why they need to learn the hand signs), Able to locate Do, Re, Me on the keyboards etc etc.....

Overall verdict - ........

Dress bought from BKK. The brown dress brings out her golden tannin outlook.

Morning, went over to my friend Ivan's house 拜年。Reia had lotsa fun playing with the Uncles & of cos the doggies!

Straight after, went ovr to my Auntie's house to 迎接财神爷。

Digress:

We saw another 财神爷@Ehub the other day. He just shook hand with Reia and walked on. Reia showed me a curious look and questioned "No Sweet??"
She was expecting 财神爷to give out sweets just like the video, and she wld say lionthrow out 菜。

During our dinner at a coffee shop near my mom's plc, we saw another group of lion dancer... =) Reia was thrilled to see the "Dong Dong Qiang" again.

No visiting was required, therefore, we decided to bring the state people to the 春到河畔 & Marina Barrage.

The weather was exceptionally Hot as usual, din stay too long before we headed to Changi Airport for our Dinner.

Slow and Relaxing, that's how we spent our 2nd day of Chinese Lunar New Year.

This year is Reia's third Lunar New Year. She's still not that excited in receiving ang pows (not really interested in notes, she preferred coins. as that guarantee her kiddy rides).

As usual, we took some photos before we left home. It was a lovely day thou i loathe the hot weather.

A brand new Year, new Start, new beginning! U 虎...First Stop, went over to my mom's place for lunch - lotong as usual.
